Grief pushed me inward. I read, journaled, and tried to make sense of a world I no longer recognized, especially as a new mother of two young children.
I kept asking myself: What kind of world will my children inherit? And what kind of world do I want to help build?
People were creating, building, and dreaming for reasons that went far beyond profit. They were leading with purpose, generosity, intention, and courage. Their stories resonated with me. I needed hope, and I found it.
I saw people building slowly and passionately, so they could build sustainably.
These weren't the stories I heard in most entrepreneurship content. But they were the ones that resonated with me.
That realization planted the seed for In It For The Honey.
I have a full-time corporate career in marketing at a law firm, where I've worked for the past 10 years. I have two young children, a home to run and a marriage to nurture and grow. I built systems in my immediate world so I could build an ecosystem for people like us. People that value impact and the sweeter things in life.
Piece by piece, the podcast — and the mission behind it — took shape.
Today, In It For The Honey is a space for people who build and create with heart and intention. It's for those of us who believe that what we do, what we leave behind, and the impact we have, all matters. Even if we're not famous or generating billions. And even if we are.

My name is Sarra Munoz, and I'm building the world I want to live in and leave behind for my children.
I believe we all matter. I believe all our actions, big and small, count.
I've spent the past decade building a career in marketing, a marriage, a family, and a home. Now I'm building a platform to support, showcase, and learn from people who are creating with purpose.
This podcast is my way of asking: What are you building for? What are you creating? And what are you in it for?
For me, it's for the honey — the sweeter things in life.
Legacy. Impact. Meaning. Community.
Conversations on building with intention — for a world we’re proud to live in and leave behind.
